Nobody is saying that every single g1 toy is better than every single alternator, but the best g1 toys are better than the worst alternators. That's pretty obvious.

I actually dislike the Vipers, Corvettes, and S2000s most.

 

Hey, the latest Toyfare issue listed their fav 100 toys in the last 10 years, they had a few transformers on there, with Meister being the only Alternator on the list. Though the only 2 Classics on the list were Devastator and Grimlock..?

 

It was one little little piece on Miester that cuase the Doors to go out of shape now i rank him #2. #1.Is Swindle.

Now The Worst is Grimlock.

 

If by worst you actually mean best, then I agree with you.

Seriously, I hate Alternators, and even I think Meister is pretty awesome. He was easily the best in the entire line to me. I also found him to be the easiest figure in the entire line to transform, he just drops into place and lines right up for me, I don't know why it's causing trouble.

Grimlock's a challenge; managing to keep the doors when transforming him is a talent.

 

Meister is awesome, so awesome I bought Shockwave as well when I said I wouldn't buy duplicate ALT moulds.

 

Jazz is, hands down, my favorite Alternator. He's just a gorgeous toy and his transformation is fun, easy, and far less fiddly than a lot of other Alts. I like the guy so much that he's the only Alternator I left out when I put the rest into storage.

You love him yet claim that he is the worst? Do these things work on some sort of inverse scale?

 

I transformed him incorrecly becuase of a little piece but i found it and he's so awesome.

 

No you dont. Pay double US retail for everything, get less than half the line, and with distribution that doesnt bear thinking about.
Hasbro Nordic have it even worse than us, and Hasbro Iceland even moreso.

Never wish you were a fan outside of the US, it simply ain't true.

Now that IS an unusual complaint...kinda like someone complaining about being underworked and overpaid.

The "worst" alt. IMO would have to be the Dodge Ram mold. And that really just means "not as satisfying as the others" FWIW.
