    micro what? ;)

something i'll be keeping an eye on for sure. Im expecting something very much distinct from the old line save a few obvious character signatures but anything with the aliens and their vehicles could be very welcome.

theres zero info on the toys so far released (as far as i know) but i'd be very surprised if it wasnt an entirely new line with more durable child friendly figures, microforce etc were designed for adult collectors. something more akin to the magnepowers 99 line for eg.

i hope they dont end up taking the micronauts comic universe world and grittying it up like the x-men films and have rather generic rather boring looking figures. I'd prefer something brighter, simpler and possibly with chrome heads!

Yeah you have a good point about the Microforce being more for adult collectors. I guess I'm more concerned with having recycled GI JOe figures but with new, chromed heads. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what Hasbro turns up.

as much as i'm interested in seeing what happens with this movie/toyline i dont expect too much interest generally, the diehard micronaut/microman community is very small and mostly in the late 30's-mid 40's, i guess you ideally need a massive community in their 20's to really get something moving. no new toy line is going to be as unique as the old micromant/naut toys, they were tiny, diecast and plastic and very minimal, still it could be a lot of fun to see the micronauts logo on shelves again.

I hope Takara is part of the design process. Particularly when it comes to the Acroyears.

indeed, it will be amazing enough just to see 'acroyears' in target!

hopefully they will keep the name which is seemingly odd due to its japanese origin.

There is a new 4" line of figures, Radikai or something, but one of the overpriced ($10) figures looks alot like BUG...and despite the high price, I bought him to be BUG in my toyverse.

I opened the BMOG Toys Kickstarter exclusive colorway last night (Solarbear and Sea-Labrys), and tried playing with him and a Micronauts Acroyear figure.

    Thus, Acro-Bear was born!

No, no, no. That's Acroyear. Acroyear II is the one with the smaller wing and the silvery spherical hands.

The traitor who sold them out to Karza.

The one who tried to prove himself by wielding the Worldmind -- and failed miserably.

The only one of their race who beneath his armor is actually -- y'know, maybe I'll stop my Miconauts nerd right there.

Back on topic: I never thought something would make me say that Acroyear looks cute, but that first pic actually does....

Sorry, I'm 20 years since I read the comics. Loved these toys as a kid. Glad I could add to them after so long.

Just give me a new Space Glider.

I had the blue one, and it was one of my favorite toys ever.

I'm also a huge fan of the Bill Mantlo-written Marvel Comics series.
