    I'm too young for Bay to have ruined my childhood, but I understand some people not liking it. I stil love G1, but I didn't see the Bay movies as an extension of G1, just slightly inspired by G1. Although there are countless other directors that could've brought us TF's on the big screen, nothing can be done to change what Bay has produced under his name. I'm thankful we have a TF movie so that people who aren't fans can at least know a little about what these bots are and do.

    Seriously, people enjoy their childhood in different ways. There's nothing wrong with have a cheesy eighties' cartoon as a treasured part of your childhood.
