That's awesome about him coming in $4,000,000 under budget.

Ah, so as long as Bay's around there won't be 3-D robots.

I can't believe Bay says wait and see how ROTF does before he decides whether he wants to direct #3. He had better be directing it... and Orci and Kurtzman better stay on as writers.

Bay is the master at budgeting.

no wonder studios love him so much! I'm learning to like him more and more. it's been a slow process as I've never watch many of his other movies, I've just seen interviews and read articles.. he's easy to hate, that's for sure.. but, I'm starting to respect that fact and he's always pretty amusing!

I don't get it, aren't the robots 3D already? Or am I mistaking the term 3D for CGI?

No, we're talking about viewing the film with nifty glasses.

I personally don't enjoy 3D movies that much anyway.

Some poeple may not like what Bay says or how he says it, but at least he doesn't give candy-coated fake press lines. I like that, and I like how he does things.

Even the people making 3-D films are saying that 3-D is not for every film so I agree that 3-D wouldn't bring enough extra to a Transformers film to make it worth it. Plus even with several 3-D movies out already there are still lots of movie theaters that can't show the new type of 3-D that is being used now so that's another reason not to go 3-D with it just for the sake of saying hey we added 3-D for the heck of it.

Darn though now I've got my hopes up the film comes under whatever magic number it is that would make him not do part 3. Really not my sort of director so it would be pretty exciting for me if we one day got a different writing team and a new director.

On the bright side though if he's working on part 3 that keeps him too busy to mess up something else I like, so I guess if the movie makes lots of money like just about everyone is predicting then Transformers will have to take one for team at least once more after part 2.

Micheal Bay? Winning a film making award? That is the funniest shit I've heard in a long, long time. Oh, I can't stop laughing.

Well it seems to be where the money comes from. Can't blame him for that.
