Just heard on the BBC news that Michael Crichton has just died in L.A.

I'm gutted... this guy turned me back onto reading when I was about 12 when Jurassic Park came out and I just ate his books... Andromeda Strain, Rising Sun, Congo, Sphere... I loved them.

A literary legend that will be missed :(

    RIP

He was the sole reason I ever picked up a book. The way who could weave a story and make it twist and turn was impeccable. He is truly one of the greatest authors of the 20th century. I'm sure the world is going to miss him and I know I will miss him.

    Favorite Book of his:
    Prey
