No, IDW is incapable of doing this as they are not an animation studio and not only don't have the infastructure to produce animation but they also don't have the experience to attempt becoming an animation studio.

 

this was........ok. but i like nothing more than siting down and reading 3 months worth of comics in a night. watching it just isnt the same. pass.

 

That was so awesome! The animation and voices where so good!

 

This looks promisning if they do more of Dreamwave Era/ Early IDW stuff than the recent comics.
Voices were pretty nice especially Megatron's.

 

The video was removed by the user, but I don't know why. Anyone hear anything about it?

Agreed. Bell's Sideswipe is the entire reason I became interested in learning about voice actors and in turn voice overs in the first place. I loved Sideswipes voice so much that I went online and researched who did it (back in the days of the net's infancy). Prowl has the same sound, but it just fits Sideswipe so much better. I absolutely love that voice! It just works. It's why I'm a Bell fan. Great natural tones.

I hope to some day hear Michael Bell as Sideswipe again. It's a shame Animated didn't continue because that dream of hearing Corey Burton and Michael Bell duo as Sideswipe and Sunstreaker again might have eventually happened.

Did anyone happen to save this video? When it was deleted from YouTube, I tried tracking it down to show to someone and I can't find "hide nor hair" of it anywhere on the web now.

GMAN, I've actually been in touch with Michael, but to date it hadn't even occurred to me to ask him about the clip.

I do know, though, that a rights issue was the reason it disappeared from YouTube. However, I've figured away around that, which I'll not post here just in case anyone from IDW is reading this.

I'm reviving the campaign via my blog (linked below) to get this series launched. I want to bombard IDW and Hasbro with requests from fans to make this digital motion comics series happen as Michael Bell envisioned it.

I'll have more details on this on my blog later this month, but I have a few other projects I've got to wrap first.
