Ok you all remember this pic right? well why is there a seventh constructicon here, if only 6 will be part of the combination? who is the 7th?
i tried making the image bigger but know one would tell me how, if you notice there is a constructicon next to his leg.

I'm still not sure what to think about all this Demlishor/Scavenger/Overload hubbub going about...

It does feature seven vehicles in the background (7th is back hoe), so "Overload" could be either misinformation, or a scrapped plan, a component that somehow or for some reason is yet unrevealed, or a last minute addition to the movie when the supreme figure was too far into development for them to engineer him into Devs.

So long as Devastator kicks ass it matters not. If there is a seventh Constructicon, fine. If there isn't fine. I am still buying the toy -- and he is never going to be in non-gestalt mode.

Check out the hands on that concept art of Devs versus the recently revealed art of him standing upright from TF08 the other day. The shovel/bucket fingers on the new concept art match those from the combining figure, while the original concept art that leaked shows a slightly different design. Maybe the original concept called for a seventh Constructicon, but the design was reworked into the six Constructicon concept we're seeing now.

looking at the original picture, I see some yellow structure sticking out of Devastator's back. You may be on to something.

My guess is that the backhoe (Overload?) is what helps the arms attach to the torso.

If you look closely, it "appears" that where the two arms attach, that is not actually part of the vehicle part of the arms.

It's definitely not for sure, but basically a guess on my part since you can 100% see some yellow on his back in the picture on the left.

To be honest, I'm almost to the point where I don't want to find out too much info prior to the movie. I've done this same "manhunt for information" prior to other big movie releases and it ended up taking away from seeing it for the first time b/c I basically knew everything that was going to happen.

That said, it's going to be much tougher to actually follow through on though.

Personally, I think the seventh CC was cut, and the first picture of Devs was made before the cut. If there was a seventh, I'm pretty sure that the big $100 Devs would have it as one of it's pieces. I also think that Scavenger was just a running name for Demolishor (much like Blackout was at one point Vortex).

The toy's not exactly show accurate. It's not like Overload will be an important character.

USA Today and the incomplete list of robots that states Demolishor and Scavenger are not the same. IMO, Overload is Devastator's back, but I could be wrong. It's just I've noticed Devastator's backpack (yellow in his first CG render, black in his concept art) seems to be a separate component and fits in with what TFW's insider said about there being seven Constructicons.

But the Insider could be wrong. Besides, when did he say there were Seven. Last Year in March or something? So the Insider could have gotten the information then and then Bay and Co changed some stuff.I just think they had Seven in their draft and the Seventh was cut.

The Back Hoe could be the non-transforming drone that was mentioned some time ago.
