I'm sorry, we're just having a little fun because if you put the words
"Micheal Bay" and "Hall Of Fame" in the title, this thread is asking for trouble.

I for one don't think the Bay movies is cinematic art, but I acknowledge what he's done to the franchise. I believe all previous lines(G1/BW/ECT..) doesn't hold a candle to what the popularity his movies brought to Transformers. Congrats to Michael Bay to a well earned "Hall of Fame" induction.

Good video. I can't say I agree with all that was said, but I have to admit that the guy deserves some recognition for giving life to the franchise.

I'm not Bay's biggest fan and I don't think he's really *the only person who could ever have made transformers* like some of the testimonials in that vid make it sound, but he totally deserves to be in the TF franchise hall of fame. He made the first three of what I hope to be a long and diverse film franchise. He's very talented at making action films and he delivered exactly what he promised. He made the "Transformers" concept into an international phenomenon and proved how it is coolness in concentrated form. For longtime Transformers fans, even if his movies had some (pretty major) flaws he still ought to be a hero.

You know, come to think of it, i'm going to miss the movieverse.
The third and final Transformers flick is in a few weeks, and I want to see what happens after DOTM.
Just like the Unicron Trilogy, it still give us more story (watch the end credits to TF: Cybertron) but nobody is continuing that story.
I want to see a Transformers 4 with Galvatron and Cyclonus, or maybe even Unicron.
I would rather have the TF reboots be prequels other than be a new continuity.

Michael bays done a good job at making transformers cool and relevant again, and he`s put together some pretty fantastic action sequences that`ll be be remembered and remarked on for years, so yeah, he deserves it! (I just wish he was a bit of a better storyteller! :) )

It's almost as if there was no point in paying to go to the HOF event.

If it wasnt for Michael Bay and the amazing job hes done with the movies, I wouldnt be here. These movies got me to like the Transformers franchise in general. I really love the movies and Im very happy that he gets to be in the Hall of Fame along with Steven Spielberg. :D

Who knows? Maybe there will be actual sequels set in the universe, even if Bay doesn't direct.

No doubt the designs are terrible and especially the second movie is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. We needed a better director than Michael Bay. That said there is also no contention that he did make Transformers relevant again even if someone else could have done it better. Meh at least the first movie was decent.

Even though "the designs being terrible" is entirely subjective, at least you give him some credit. So I can deal with that.

While I don't think that he was the best choice, and while he did a lot of things wrong. I have to admit that he should be in here. The impression that he left is a large one, and even if there's a stain on it, the rest is positive and did some genuine good for the brand as a whole.
