LOL: The Onion Reports “Michael Bay Signs $50M Deal To F**k Up Thundercats” | /Film
Meh, not THAT funny. The Onion hasn't really been that funny to me, lately.
Meh. I never really liked Thundercats before, certainly not wasting the money to see it again only with live action. All the 80's Icons I love have already been brought back good enough (TF's and Knight Rider).
I'm sure you won't be
...seeing how this is fake
*reads thread title* "Wtf?"
*realizes it's from The Onion* Ah. Yeah, that's about their usual level of shit.
The Onion has never been funny to me. I just never cared for it.
True, but considering how Hollywood keeps resurecting every 80's cartoon that had a bit of popularity, a Thundercats movie might just be around the corner...
I can see the 90 minute movie now.
A bunch of furries running around with big explosions.
Nah I picture something more along the lines of the musical Cats...
a CGI film is in development.
Well if Sony is dumb enough to green light "The Smurfs" then anything is possible. Poor John Lithgow.
Where the hell are the singing cats?
Yeah, but it was either this or post about how Transformers fans hate the Transformers movie...or sumthin' like that.
Pretty much the only funny thing I have watched from The Onion was the "Sony's Latest Goddamn Fucking Piece of Shit".
Ya know...back when someone was seriously considering a live action Thundercats movie...I never thought of that... Now...I am not sure I want to see a live action Thundercats.
Dammit. I actually would have liked to seen what Bay would do with Thundercats, it might have been fun.
I'm disappointed this is fake, Michael Bay is
Oh wow, Schneider as Snarf
I see the story is fake. But when I first heard about this, I thought Bay is going to take some time off.
"Lion-O.......no matter what happens......I'm really glad I got in that ship with you."
I added the source to the title to avoid confusion that this might actually be a true story.
