I'm sure the big bucks DOTM brings in will soak up those tears quite nicely.

ok you people are pathetic, this man brought transformers to a point of unbelieveable popularity, who's movies have made hasbro TONS of money to make the toys you want and all you guys can do is go "GOOD NEWS!" and "GLAD TO SEE HIM LEAVE!"

    you guys make me sick

Micheal Bay, thank you for all the time and hard work you put into making transformers stronger than ever before, we can never express enough thanks for what you have done for this franchise. You will forever be welcomed by this fan

I am here because of him and his movies - surely I've got to know many other plains of this fandom, but it was his first live-action movie that caught my attention. I hope DotM will rock epically ever after. I wish him good luck whatever he'll do now - he earned it.

    Christopher Nolan comes to mind

It was already strong from the get-go. He just brought in the general public from the wood works and piss-off the 80s kids!

May the gods bless him for what he's done to skyrocket the franchise. Without the live action movies, I wouldn't be here today...or maybe I would but not as soon.

Well Michael Bay did insult the franchise before even signing on. He's not a God you know. so, relax. Also, you should destroy your rose colored glasses. Transformers was really huge in the 80s too.

He reminded some people and brought in a few new ones just like every iteration of transformers does. He did his part, good or bad.

I'm sure he cried....all the way to the bank, then muttered good riddance.

I'm indifferent to it but when it's no secret Bay hated the idea for the transformers from the get go it's hard to respect the guy. He lost some momentum with the island and used tf to springboard himself back under someone elses dollar. Now he has the production push for making more blow up movies with terrible stories on his own again.

I'm glad he's done, but sad he'll still continue to make other movies... I fear a bad boys 3 movie.

    Tony Scott.

    [p.s]

Can someone explain what he is on about in the front page quote I don't understand him - I obviously don't speak Meglomanic.

As well you should. Or*shudder* the island two!

Lord forbid he ever team up and do something with Jerry Bruckheimer as both directors.

OK, I'm pathetic because I don't like his end product? You're a joke.

"who's movies have made hasbro TONS of money to make the toys you want "

LOL! I don't really care for the movie toys at all. Thanks for imposing your beliefs onto
    others pal. Keep stating falsities.

Bay's cares not for the franchise. Only money.

Yes! Finally we can reboot with a character director and get these transformers movies a bit higher in storytelling quality. I will go see transformers 3 but only to support the franchise... I expect it to be crap again but I really hope I'm wrong... Has there been any news on a possible reboot?
