only positive news are that bay is returning if its truly made. (but still my opinion remains unchanged, only can hope tf4 gets a spider-man 4 sydrome (cast, director, release date all set, only to be cancellled months before filming))

 

The reason i'm complaining is that Bay always makes the Autobots unstoppable and make the Decepticons out aluminum paper

Even as I, a big time fan of the bay movies (if it hadn't been for TF in 2007 i would never have become a fan of the entire franchise), I have to admit that you do have a logical point.... another point is that Autobot deaths dooooooon't really mean much or have a huge impact. On the audience, perhaps, but not so much on in-movie characters.

 

Movies had nothing to do with Animated's actual cancellation, only it's delayed start. And that was because they did not expect the amazing success of movie one. They know how well movies do now and plan ahead.

 

I know! Thank goodness Hasbro learnt it's lesson this time! 

 

As a stauch supporter of ROTF and DOTM, this is the first TF movie I'm not excited for. I think DOTM jumped the shark with its "its the last movie, kill all the bad guys" approach. TF4 and TF5 seem forced to me at this point.

I really hope the Bay returning shit isn't true, but more likely than not it is... And all my hopes for an improved film are gone. I can see myself bashing these movies unless Bay makes drastic changes, a cool mcguffin is used to bring back the important bad guys, and the writing is vastly improved.

Meaning there is a 97.34 percent chance I will be bashing these movies. Add. Me to the list of boos.

I was hoping for another director, since I figured Bay was tapped out. I would like to see more films though.

I can only hope Shia at least stays out of it. Maybe if we move away from Sam (who was never allowed to move past the loser kid role despite being in his 20s in DOTM and kept having the Shia Leboufness turned up every film, especially DOTM) we can at least get something sort of new.

Only problem is Bay hates to ressurect which means all the dead characters with wasted potential are gone.

However maybe being freed from needing to involve Megatron will allow them to come up with a good replacement villain?

I'm cautiously optimistic about this.

I can't speak for NEST SOLDIER, but since this basically can apply to me as well, I can give you my easy answer - I love the movieverse and have since the first film, but I'm not a fan of what Bay did with it in the sequels.

this is good news and bad news for me. Its good because I'm a big fan of the movies and bad because I'm gonna have to get a new toy for the same character I already own.
