Hey I just got a mic. from bestbuy works like a charm I only have one problem if anyone can help me. I want to record for longer than a mintue which is in the start menu the sound recorder. Is there something I can download(preferably free) to use to record longer?
Audacity. It's an audio recorder/editor. Audacity: Download The "Stable" one may require a plugin to allow you to save recordings in mp3 format (since wav format is freakin HUGE file size), but the Beta one on the right of that page is the latest one, and has mp3 capability on its own. It's a great program, so try it out.
