Haven't heard anything from Venksta on his Bumper and Hubcap heads. Does anyone know the time line?

Probably not for a while. He hasn't even shipped the Goldbug ones yet.

 

I like what I saw on Renderform.com. After Goldbug ships out in early 2012, Venksta might work on the Hubcap & Bumper upgrades. He also has the classics Hound rifle and Ravage missiles in the works. I hope the Classics Megatron weapon set will also be developed. As great as the OP axes look, I imagine the spiiked ball and chain will be equal in awesomeness.

 

Not sure if this has been pointed out before, but I just noticed that there's something in Bumper's head design that makes me think of a "classics-style" Movie Bumblebee. Interesting.

Why does it seem all of them do the same stuff. Devastator, Bumblebee, Seekers/coneheads and Magnus stuff. Theres ALOT of other 'formers that deserve some shine

I'd rather have Venkstas Bumper and Hubcap heads (not that these are terrible or anything). I just hope this doesn't mean Venksta will cancel or postpone his heads.

Venksta kit seems to be a much better quality.

 

Venksta's workmanship is fantastic, he puts a lot of time and effort into his pieces. However as they are limited runs, these are an alternative - given the choice though, make mine Renderform.

Yeah, I'd like to buy from Venksta, but I always miss out. The purchasing/announcement procedure seems tricky.

The Hubcap one DOES look a little puckery, but I think the Bumper one looks fine. If I can get a hold of it and the price is decent, I'll get it.

STILL wish I could get Renderforms' Fire Chief or (Dreadwind) set, but those are nearly as rare as the Japanese S.T.A.R.S. kit.
