More panel on the arms, but i like this one.

I would buy the mft one but may just buy ms in the meantime. Ialso hope they are the same size as the ms toys one.

The face seems a little set back in the head.

Hmm, there are things I like about both. Like ChaChi, I hope they'll be the same size -- as the MST version didn't wow me and it would be nice to have another G1 option to consider -- but I doubt it.

In any case, I look forward to seeing in in-hand color samples!

    Meh, still works for me.

So I assume Mechanic Studio are the ones responsible for the design?

I do like MFT's option to use weapons in alt mode, and their more detailed louvered rear window.

    Looks good!

I'm confused on the numbering though...I thought MFT numbered their figs as MF0,...MF21, MF22, etc. This is MFT MS05?

I thought that MFT figures were a little taller in scale than DX9, IF and MST...

I think MS stands for Mechanic Studio. Notice the logo of the little kid with the wrench and the Bumblebee helmet?
Which leads me to believe that they might be the same people responsible for designing MFT's Springer, numbered MS-01, which stood for Mech Soul. Maybe they changed it to Mechanic Studio.

Is MFT stuff always oversized compared to all the other 3P Legends figures?

Mft are making a new designation why you see some called MS something. The MS stands for Mechanic Studio which must mean their inhouse designer who is doing original(mostly) designs.

MFT are making stuff in scale, they are trying very hard too and are actually the most scale conscious of all legends company imo. Their megs and seekers scale with each other, the reflector will fall somewhere and we will see where the carbots fit, likely 9-10cm.

So basically they are not trying to make everything bigger, but just to make each character scale with what they put out.
