I think the mold was better used, using metroplex and I love my metroplex

Is Metroplex worth buying if i already have FM? Debating about pulling the trigger. The weak knees on metroplex make me cringe.

I'd say no, at the current price. For $300-400 I'd buy Utopia that, while smaller, has better engineering. If you find a cheaper offer (I let slip two day ago one on Ebay for 170 euro, of course I'll never now how it would have ended if I entered a bid war), and like the character and the mold, then maybe yes.

After finally getting Fort Max, I'll weigh in and say I prefer my Takara Metroplex.
Fort Max does have a better midsection with the fold out towers, but with so many artifacts leftover from the Metroplex mold not being changed at all (shoulder swing joint, crane bay, hinge spot on leg cannon, forearm cannon area...), the mold was and will always be Metroplex to me.
IF new ramps were made that extended the arm ramps down like the G1 version, and if the knees were changed to allow for better leg positioning in base mode, my opinion may have been be different.
Still, I'm glad I got Fort Max on the cheap and was able to have them both together.
