    Hi again...

    EXTRA ADDED YOUTUBE VIDEO REVIEW:

today after working on the heads for 2 of my current WIP combiners...

I really wanted todo some heavy stuff :)

So I asked my Girlfriend if I could buy back my first custom..
(as this was also my first on Ebay and got stuck on 15euro, so she bought it :p )
    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radic...k-inspired-may-i-present-metroplex-prime.html

Now I finally got a Cyb.Metroplex... and I wanted the most easiest way to combine those 2!

Any questions... feel free to ask ;)  thnx in advance for any C&C!

    UPDATE2:
Wow this really took me some time, dremeling through that deep layers :)
Anyways... since I damaged some things during first attempt, this is what right arms now look finished (except for filling the gaps & smoothing)
Now I need to do the other exactly like it... but no more today, back+headache :(

    UPDATE3:
    99%... I'm happy with the bot-mode and vehicle-mode...
now I'm taking a brake and see if I can find a nice city-mode ;)

    UPDATE4:
Thinking of a possible paintscheme with Photoshop, what do you guys think?

    UPDATE5:
I finally found a suitable City-mode, besides the alternative Vehicle-mode, the orignal Starship-mode doesn't look to bad at all :p

    UPDATE6:
Made an addition + special Metro-Skycraper-mode...
the Powermaster prime cannons are now mounted on the shoulder locations of Cyb.Plexi, which allows them to slide forward into battle-mode (extra firepower is always good right? ;) )
then lets the extra-height (which I call Skycraper-mode) in the waist looks like the side are filled with bulk, but could also double as jump-boosters! (a jumping City, can you feel it :p )
Furthermore I filled in most caps by the arms/hands and prepped them and cleaned them (no pics) and are currently drying, to receive some paint!

    UPDATE7:
It's painted, didn't feel like making new Alt-mode pics :D
But I might, for now I'm very happy...

    UPDATE8:
    Some poses ;)
(to bad the Saturday Night Fever pose is out of focus :( )

I'm truly sorry that I'll have to bump this custom,
because something terrible happened and I'm in extreme need of money :(

SO here are the customs I think about selling until I have enough to manage!

Looks pretty cool; the proportions are certainly much improved from the original version. If you can, though, I'd suggest taking the forearms from the G1 Metroplex (which are currently part of his shoulders) and finding a way to shift them to the forearms; as it is, he's got incredibly long upper arms relative to what's below the elbow.

Totally agree. If I had a junker Metroplex, this would be something I'd try to copy, and change up the arms a bit.

Are you going to be doing some paint apps? The paint on the chest of Cyberplex doesn't seem to fit in with the rest. Otherwise, really neat idea.

    Not bad not bad...
The G1 feet connected to the Cybertron legs is exactly what I did with my Metroplex here...
    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/323193-i-want-metroplex-too-wip.html
However, the middle part of the legs is where I stopped with the Cyb. Met. swapping.
My biggest problem with using more parts from Cyb. Met. was that he ended up looking too skinny in the waist and arms...I bet that if you found a way to shorten him up in the area above his crotch, and found some stockier arms for him, he'd proportion out a bit better.
Either way, it's good that you're able to take another shot at Metroplex.

I don't have Cyberplex (I like that name for him ;) ), but it would seem the most sensible way to splice them would be to use the joints from Cyberplex to better articulate Metro, then just use whatever else from the fig to beef up the detail.

Yup... until I complete the last 3% ;)  then test all the AltModes..
after that it's ready for paint!

This photo doesn't do the propotions justice, tomorow I'll make new ones...
but I really have to swap those pieces in the arm, problem is I fused them :(

    Yes... maybe some extra's ...
cuz I have done something special with the connection of the top-section ;)

You have two back injuries and yet you have the ability to dremel plastic and churn out customs at lightspeed? Are you even human??? I could swear you'd have to be superhuman to pull that off... :lol  j/k

Anyways, love this one. Well, okay, i won't lie, i still don't have much fondness for the whole "let's put the two metroplex toys into one" idea, but you seem to have made a half-decent job of it so far. I'll still hate it i'm sure, but i look forward to seeing if you can make this idea actually work. So far, i'm yet to see someone pull it off.

why thank you :)  so far no neighbors complaining about the noise :D

Yeah got 3 vertebra's screwed together, needed to relearn walking 2times already!
I can do everything, except no longer that 10min at a time, so standing then lying down and repeat forever ... O well hope the near future brings some relief!
The 24hr pain is killing me, but after 3yrs you kinda get used to it ;)

    ON-TOPIC:
Yeah I guess this ain't gonna be that one you're waiting for, but at least it's better than what it was before (1st time) and in my opinion also better than the default Cyb.Metro :D

Excellent. Now the upper arm could use some bulking out, but the proportions are much better. :)

A very interesting concept, but I feel the proportions are extremely out of whack. His arms, upper legs, and abdomen are very skinny and should be bulked up considerably to make him look more proportioned. Just my opinion on how to make him better.

Agree to a certain extend.... I want him to look like a skyscraper and not like the Washington DC capital and such :D

So yeah he's lean and lanky, but I need the Arms/Legs/Abdomen to be in scale with eachother, I do believe it's almost more human like'ish but we'll see how it ends ;)

1things for sure I need to check the alt-modes today and think on from there on :)

    thnx guys!
