Update: Build finished. He's got articulation everywhere and it's all solid. Ball-joint for head just needs to be epoxied into place (after painting). His connectors have all be screwed into place at the brackets and epoxied - double security. I tried to get his proportions and visually correct as possible and he IS transformable :)

So I had to give this a shot and I think I have some good proportions. Keep in mind this is only a WIP so I have a lot other mod work to do and fine tuning.

    Still have to do:

Head cannons - using G1 parts
Weaponize Metroplex - Using G1 parts as shown - weapons will be modded to be more modernized as well
    Mod shoulders by shortening tops
Add Add tires to thighs - Like G1
Mod forearms (less like Primus, more G1-like)

Basically he'll receive a classics/modern paint job but with subtle wear and tear and I do plan on glow effects up the arse :)

It has about 2 solid possible alt modes I've been messing with. Not sure just yet which one to focus on...

I don't know, I think the gun forearms look good on him. The proportions are great, and I can't wait to see how he turns out. Nice work so far!!

I think the head needs a little tinkering, other wise this thing looks perfect.

I feel like you got the overall proportions down pretty nicely. The head needs to be more "metroplexy", but i'm sure you already know that.
I also really like that you are adding tires to his legs. Nice little touch.

Cant' wait to see the altmode(s)!

This looks great Zac! I'm planning him out now as well and getting all the parts coming in slowly. I really like your proportions and might go this rout as well. How hard was it to attach all the different parts-such as Primus forearms to the Cyb. Metro biceps, and Cyb. shoulders to the G1 body? Do the ol' cut and epoxy method?

Thanks! I will be keeping the forearms just as they are, I might add some panels to square them off though on the sides of the cannons...

    Thanks guys!

I do too, I'll be modding it this weekend :)

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it myself, lol.

Thanks JC and WJ! Primus's forearms basically match right up. I just had to cut the inside screw port down a but inside Energon Metroplex's joint so that it would fit to the joint of Primus. The lining on the outside of the screw 'tube' had to be shaved down smooth.

The shoulders were a real PITA!!!! But I am happy with them. I also got the right arm to slide just like the G1 for transformation.

Basically, lots of cutting, sanding, and plastic weld (along with permanently placed screws for added support and build integrity).

Thanks guys, Jame5y, not sure man, I've always wanted to do this and just never had the time so I've been building it slowly but surely.

I'll echo what others have said- great proportions. in fact, one of the first that doesn't look super tall and lanky
