I don't know about the large combiner parts, however I Know that you can attach the smaller limbs to him on his arms and legs.

The large bots would turn into their base modes, and then you would attach them. I was just wondering how, as I cant find any of the pics.

I don't think it can be made any more obvious than this picture:

Supposely, you can also attach the aerialbots to Metroplex in robot mode so that we can fly. Or something like that.

You can also attach the other limbs to him in bot mode, not sure what that woudl do though. :)  In city mode, I connected Streetwise with his veicle gun, and he made a sufficient turret.

They can merge with Trypticon in much the same way.

I'd like to see a picture of that too. It would make more sense than having Motormaster and Onslaught hooked to Metroplex. Maybe Scattershot could take one of those spots instead. I know I often arranged them together when I was young, but I don't remember if he connects in any way.

Yep, Trypticon came with 2 connectors so that you can attach Onslaught and Motormaster to him. It makes him look even bigger in city mode. I dont think there is a way to attach Scattorshot to Metroplex, but then again I never tried. Mabe in his turret mode?
