This is half of an old diorama I made a few years back. The other half, which housed Brave Maximus, was sadly destroyed while in storage. Since this part remained I decided to set Metroplex up and click off a few pics. Unfortunately most of my props I had for the diorama disappeared as well. I had little barrels, a few more gray crates, ladders, handtrucks, a whole bunch of stuff.

Eventually I'll make another diorama; One with more detail and depth. Im thinking some kind of mountain region for Trypticon, Scorponok, and Metrotitan. Then a dessert setup for Overlord and Black Zarak. Lemme know what yas think.

Hotrod's placement reminds me of the old Lunchbox/Boxart scene

That's cool! You could add Onslaught and the rest of the guys to turn Metroplex into Scramble City ;)

Silverbolt for Metroplex, and Onslaught for Metrotitan. Onslaught can also be used on Trypticon with Motormaster. I'll have to remember to leave room for at least one of them to link up on the next diorama. It'll take some time (and dollars), but it'll be worth it in the end.

Im also tempted to make a used car lot to display my Alternators. Anything is better than keeping them in a cardboard box.

Bring it on! I might not be the best kitbasher or repainter here, but I certainly know a thing or two when it comes to dioramas. Out of curiousity, would anyone buy something like that to display their figures on?

PS: The rocks are pieces of styrofoam that have been carved and then coated with a textured speckle-paint. You can find all different colors and textures at most crafts stores. Expect to pay like $6 a can, though that one can will last quite some time. Depending on how large your rocks/mountains are.

You certainly do! Your attention to detail here is really neato (the speed trap, the crate, etc.). Despite my previous bout of sarcasm (not aimed at you obviously!), I REALLY want to say that I like this piece and what you're doing here! I would CERTAINLY pay money for this piece (if I had the expendable cash that is! :lol ). I CERTAINLY hope we see more of these from you! :thumb  :thumb

(Thanks for the recipe too! :thumb )
