Metrodome japanese headmaster and victory dvd boxset question PAL

    just have a question about these 2 sets i got from amazon uk. headmaster plays fine in my dvd player although it was PAL and REG 0. Victory which is also PAL /REG 2 would not play on my dvd player. Why didn't metrodome make it reg 0 again? Both play on my computer.

    nevermind, decoded my dvd player, now it's region free. :)

    They were intended to be Region 0, but at the insistence of Sony BMG were set to Region 2, possibly because before that division folded Sony was considering a domestic release, or just plain didn't want Metrodome to infringe on them.

    At any rate, congrats on working around it, it's great to finally have those sets on DVD.
