Strong Meteor Shower Expected Tonight - Yahoo! News
Look up to the sky tonight and tomorrow night!
meteor shower, thats what they WANT you to think.
This reminds me of two things: Francis Dolarhyde and that we're losing our power!
Cool. : )
This comment goes in the Transformers section.
so, if im in north america on the eastern shore on wednesday night and i look up at any time between 12 and 5 a.m. i will see the meteor shower?
Dammit I wanted to make that joke.
That reminds me, I'll have to watch Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within again sometime.
In before alien apocalypse!
Also, thanks to the now-customary English summer weather, I don't expect to see anything.
Can anyone see the shower right now? Get some pictures!
It's not midnight anywhere in the U.S. or Canada yet.
Hate that movie. It was ssooooooooo dull, and didn't even feel like a Final Fantasy-esque story. I wish FF7 or FF8 was made into live action. I think FF8 would translate best.
soo did anybody see anything yet?
not yet no.
i just went outside to have a look, but had to turn in five minutes later because a skunk appeared two metres in front of me :S
lol, i wish i could stay outside allnight to look but i just can't
Shortly before TF1 came out, I saw a huge asteriod(meteor, meteoroid, I don't know what it would be classified as) streak across the night sky. It was bright orange and green. I could actually hear it tearing through the air, and it eventually exploded, which I also heard. It was easily the damned coolest astermeteorcometoid I've ever experienced.
Seriously though, what's the proper classification?
Still not seeing anything "/
I saw 3 of them. Pretty lame so far.
I saw 2 or 3 of them when Perseid flew over last year. It was boring. The shooting stars you see on a really clear night out in the desert at any given time of year are way more engaging.
