This reminds me of two things: Francis Dolarhyde and that we're losing our power!

That reminds me, I'll have to watch Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within again sometime.

    In before alien apocalypse!

Also, thanks to the now-customary English summer weather, I don't expect to see anything. :(

Hate that movie. It was ssooooooooo dull, and didn't even feel like a Final Fantasy-esque story. I wish FF7 or FF8 was made into live action. I think FF8 would translate best.

Shortly before TF1 came out, I saw a huge asteriod(meteor, meteoroid, I don't know what it would be classified as) streak across the night sky. It was bright orange and green. I could actually hear it tearing through the air, and it eventually exploded, which I also heard. It was easily the damned coolest astermeteorcometoid I've ever experienced.

Seriously though, what's the proper classification?

I saw 2 or 3 of them when Perseid flew over last year. It was boring. The shooting stars you see on a really clear night out in the desert at any given time of year are way more engaging.
