Heya gang, here's photos of PRID Cliffjumper 2.0

I did an earlier repaint without painting the body panels, this time went in with a metallic Red. Still trying to maintain more of the FE color scheme however. From those of you experienced in Ebay sales, what do you think I might expect to get in an auction?

don't use a BIN and start your pricing low low low. The BIN may prove to be less than what you might get from actual bids or if people are like me and they see this huge BIN it becomes a turn off.

Promote your auction in the appropriate sub forums at all the custom toy forums you know of and visit.

As far as the paint apps, they look beautiful but I can't help but get annoyed by his thigh wheels. The detailing is fucking magnificent but I kind of wish you would have removed his wheels and sculpted the area smooth. Still, really good work you've done here sir.

You know, it hadn't even occurred to me to remove those darn things from his legs. He would actually be more accurate with the fenders and wheels removed from his lower legs though. I had thought about a bot mode only figure where I would canabalize another cliff and use half of the opposite calves to build up either side of his calves in place of the rear fenders.

and...what is a BIN? I've never sold a thing on Ebay before.

Duh...I should have known that. What about using a reserve? I wouldn't want to sell it for less than cost of figure and materials right?

I think you'd get at least $20. Being that it looks really nice and that the figure is fairly hard to find at the moment. You may get as much as $40 or $50 though. Just start the action at $0.99 and let nature take it's course. Setting BIN and reserves cost you more money in fees. Maybe just put it in the sales threads and ask for offers.

    Ebay:
You've just got to take the risk, I put my Megatron up last week and it's going for far more than I would have expected it to go for.

Trust me, there is no way that work of this calibre won't get the money it deserves. Advertise it in your sig and on forums where you post, make sure the auction has lots of pictures (html code helps get them on for free) and also that the worldwide option is selected.

Ebay have free listings weekends some times (the last one was last weekend) and though I did opt for a couple of upgrades I only owe them 10 pence in fees so far but that will change when the auction ends and they and paypal want their cut.

I'd like to do something like this but if I do I'm filling in those mech-tech ports.

    Ebay:
You could also start the bidding price to whatever the lowest you would feel comfortable selling it at in case you only get 1 bidder. Nothing too low or too high though. That way, you don't need a reserve or a BIN.

As for the custom. WOW! Looks awesome.
