With the worldwide simultaneous release of Metal Gear Solid 4 drawing near, the discussion arises again, should Hideo Kojima produce Metal Gear Solid motion pictures? The series is rich in characters and story elements. The problem is that it is so convoluted and disjointed that it makes Final Fantasy 7 look like a children's story. PMCs, organizations such as the Philanthropy and the Patriots, clones, Metal Gears, and so much more, its hard to keep track. This is why there should be movies made to tell it a bit more clearly, leave some things out and focus on the more important plot, and tell it in chronological order. There should be five films. Either as live-action films or as pre-rendered computer animated films. The first film should be known as Metal Gear Solid Zero. This would cover the stories of MGS3: Snake Eater and MGS: Portable Ops. The second film would be Metal Gear Solid. This would cover the stories of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. The third film would be Metal Gear Solid 2. This would cover Metal Gear Solid from PS1. The fourth film would be Metal Gear Solid 3 and would cover MGS2: Sons of Liberty. The fifth and final film would be titled Metal Gear Solid 4 and would ironically cover the story of MGS4: Guns of the Patriots.
