Well this morning I was listening to the King of all Media HOWARD STERN and he was interviewing Richard Rober from Ebert and Roper. They were speaking about Fantastic 4 and he made mention that it was better than the first one but it seemed kind of silly like the first one. Then Howard made mention of Transformers!!! Saying that the trailers looked awesome. Roper saying he has not seen it yet, then to make mention Roper say's that "what next Gobots!!!???!!!" Then after that the were no other mentions on the movie. Thought I would make note!!!

Just goes to show you how ignorant of the film some people still are.

I don't get how you're getting that from what the poster said...

I believe he was referring to what Roper said, not the original poster.

They probably think the Gobots are part of the same Hasbro Transformers line and will be featured in the next movie Transformers 2: Attack of the Gobots . :rolleyes2

Man, Transformers will never quite shake the label of being just a kids thing.

Well... it's not like all Transfans will get respected by their TF collecting hobby after the movie anyway. Nor will Transformers all of a sudden 'grow up' for a more mature audience. They're toys, that's how we love them and that's how Hasbro will still profit from them: as toys.

Soooo. I think I will be expecting Rebert and Roper to both be giving two thumbs down. Not that would surprise me. Every movie I like they have hated.

    Roeper.

    Roeper.

And it's the same as if they made a GI Joe movie or a Power Rangers movie, it's rooted very deeply in children's interests.

Actually they are now. There was a line of G2 Transformers called Go Bots, there was the My First Transformer line for young toddlers called Go Bots, and there's a mini con named Leader-1 and of course there's Bug Bite.

And knowing is half the battle.:thumb

That sucks that you don't like freedom to say what ever, like The Howard does!!! He seemed thrilled about it when he mentioned it on the satelite waves...

What? I never ever said that. I just said I hated him, I never said why. Freedom is a beutiful thing, but Howard Stern... not so much.

Whatever. What I'm trying to say is, there's freedom of speech, and then there's downright rude sometimes. Reasonable grounds.

I miss Sisco, he was a true geek's reviewer and appreciated the geekier stuff in films.

I will fight to the death for Howard Stern's right to freedom of speech, but that still doesn't mean I don't think he's an attention whore and a general dickwad.

Still, go to hear the movie getting some press.

Ebert and Roper both gave the first TMNT movie (back in the 80's) two thumbs up...that would be a huge slap in the face if TFTM didn't get the same.
