Here's Menasor that I've been working on.

He's been a blast to work on and I can't wait to see him painted up.

I love sharing work with you guys, so here he is. and note, the blinging big wheels on the feet arn't decided yet.

That is awesome. When I see Cybertron Prime as part of Menasor, I wonder where his legs go.

    I like the arms too.

He looks really cool, I like that you're using a different toy for each limb. He'll look deadly when he's painted up. I've always wondered since I first saw these, this style of gestalt looks very stable, are they? If I can say about the wheels, its a cool idea, I like that they're on his forearms, maybe smaller wheels and a mud guard would look really cool.

    It's gonna look very nice.

Same question: What are the pieces holding Dragstrip and Dead End? FR said to use styrene to create the joint to lock into Motormaster, but i still don't get what to use for the yellow pieces you've got right now.

I'll tell you what I used and maybe it'll help. Before I was using styrene, my form of styrene was the single gang and double gang electrical box (http://www.hardwarestore.com/media/product/227322_front200.jpg) usually about $0.35 per box. I would just cut it up using a ban saw.
This sucker is thicker then most styrene and they have a right angle already made for me when I need it. Another good thing about it is that I can heat it up and mould it to anything else around it. When I did Defensor, Groove pretty much sat in one of these modified, cut, and then melted to form completely around grove so it didn't look like just a box. You can get the box at any Lowes or home depot. Sometimes they are grey.

Here's a pic of the prosthetic joint I created:

Agree w/ moe, a thicker styrene would have quickened the job, but I had none available at the time. I've been working a lot with Sintra, a air infused PVC sheet, which is nice because it is thicker (1/8 and 1/4 inch) and softer, so plugs like the one in my image above would be a little softer and easier to clip in and then pop out.

Those are a good find Moe, I am always looking for good "hard" plastics to cut up and play with.

Cool thread here. I like what you did with SS's head, those horns make a huge improvement.

Moe & F_R thanks for those tips!

    Thyvipera,

So far I think Menasor looks decent for the most part. Your concept of wheels on the feet is cool, however I think the execution can use a bit more design and experimentation.

I'm not sure if the wheels currently on Menasor's feet are final, but possibly consider using ones without rims. Motormaster is kinda a tough big rig type of dude you know. Rims may be a bit more Jazz personality.

I noticed that Menasor's antennas were placed to look more like horns. Was this intentional?

Overall, great start. Looking forward to the final product.

    thanks for the comments everyone.

The feet havn't hardly been worked on so far, so this is an early stage.

The horns are to represent more of a cartoon Menasor.
