well i got a call from my sister- as she's on the road to Dollywood- telling me i am on my own for the weekend. so i am stuck at home. i guess that leaves me to thinking about Dad and telling his vet friends, and vets i know, thanks. Where i live, every day at 5:25 and at 5:30 a.m, i can hear "Reveille"; at 5 p.m., "Retreat"; and at 10 p.m., "Taps" playing. i used to be annoyed by it (you wanna wake up at 530 on your day off?) and i still abhor "Taps" because of how my dad reacted to it. but it reminds me that there are people doing something for me in ways i doubt i ever could. without being asked. without being drafted. so...thanks.
It can and sometimes it does get annoying, but after awhile you get so used to it that you don't even hear at times.
get over stomach flu, clean house, and poke around on the net. See avengers and possible see my little niece if I feel better.
^^ Wow, hope you feel better, those things are the worst. ^^ Nope, the first thing I did was that I tossed all my uniforms away. It was the best feeling ever and didn't look back.
