well, we got our morbid, yet always reliable 3 recently deceased celebrities (coleman, Linkletter, Hopper) plus the slipknot bassist.

so this sunday, i am gonna sit back with rum and tip a shot for each one. then Monday, with everybody we know available, having a cookout and pool party.
gonna watch some cheesy movies with some of these people in my room.

Just going to do the same thing I do every single Memorial Day weekend... simply relax.

 

Finding a Veteran and saying thank. Other than that. chilling with my kids.

 

I've already had a Memorial Day Rambo-thon, and I'm watching Patton and the Longest Day on the day itself. Good times.

 

Family's coming over for a BBQ. Otherwise, I'm just going to relax.

 

Got the Indianapolis 500,followed by the Coca-Cola 600 today.It's too hot to do anything outside today,and back to work tomorrow.

 

I'm going to the flea market and I'm going to look for some cheap toys.  

 

Havin' a pool party/barbacue with the family. And waging a war with my younger cousins with the water guns.  

 

Playing in parade (sousaphone  ) then having a Brawl tourny.

I'm just gonna relax.

 

Im going to lunch at the Olive Garden with my daughter, wife, her parents, and niece. Then probablly some shoping. Then later if i get time, ill play some Resistance: Fall of man on PS3 in memory of Nathan Hale who turned the tide in the great chimarian war!

 

Sorta-kinda nitpicking, but veterans have Veteran's Day. Memorial Day is for the ones who didn't make it home.

Fuck yes. Outstanding way to celebrate the day.

 

Working 2nd job, earning money.  

 

I'm also planning on to relax. There won't be much to do in this town and the beaches for it has been cloudy and raining since Saturday.

I would'nt doubt if the tourists already packed up and went back home.

 

Four months ago I found out I had an older half-sister that my mom put up for adoption five years before she had me. And my sister, she found us. And we met and got along, and she lives, quite literally, just down the street. And so yesterday I took my mom over to my sister's house, and we all had a perfectly wonderful day cooking out and shooting-the-crap--and that's something I couldn't have ever possibly imagine happening, ever.

 

Relax, have a cookout and some wine and then sleep enough to catch up for the past week!!  

 

The wife has an NST today at the hospital, then a cookout at the inlaw's for a cookout

Hopefully mow our lawn if Dad and get his act together and convert it back from snow-plow to lawn-mower status!
Due to our 3.5 week long trip to California, all the snow is gone and our lawn has grown quite a bit. It's looking awefull at the moment. Except, it is nice and green!
