Wait. Who does this upgrade? The base Cybertron Prime/Galaxy Convoy? Or someone entirely different to make it Cybertron Prime/Galaxy Convoy?

From here it looks like the armor parts are different and swapped hands and feet. Where's the backpack?

Also as unnecessary as this is, I still love this incarnation of Prime. Might be interested, but this is Xovergen.

Cybertron Optimus doesn't need an upgrade/update. The original's perfect as is.

Seems to have something to do with arms being upgraded since one of the base figure's arms is folded back.

At the very least this is interesting.

And yes, this is Xovergen we're talking about, but upgrade kits are less tricky than full figures and we should get a good idea of how their production is progressing with their powermaster release.

I would agree. But I wouldn't say no to articulated ankles and fully articulated hands.

I agree. It's my favorite non-MP Prime ever. I own four versions of the mold, and unless this is REALLY good, I'm gonna' pass.

So, this basically appears give him armor for articulated hands and feet?
Slightly interested... but the original is a masterpiece in its own right.

This is interesting. If it's an armor/trailer that can go on Classics Prime, thereby giving him all of Cybertron Prime's weapons that could be really cool.

If it's a 3rd party version of Cybertron Prime, well, then easy pass. If it ain't broken don't fix it.

Sweet another tease of a product that may not ever come out. This is getting out of hand lately. Do we really need an upgrade set for 15 different Primes?

The dumb thing is that even with all these different Prime upgrades, not one is a Nova Prime.

Man... whenever a Nova Prime comes out, it'd better be it's own figure instead of some upgrade. That unfinished one from years back or whatever really set a standard in what I'd want.

I agree. After seeing that beautiful Nova Prime, why hasn't anyone tried to make one similar or pay the guys that made it to release it? To me, that would be a no-brainer. Look how fast the stuff from the Radicons gets copied. Nova would be a automatic sell-out.

It'd be nice to actually see a new release out of them than more teasers.

Well, all things being ideal, I would like to have a version of Cybertron Optimus that more closely mimics his onscreen appearance. Smaller face and more angular faceplate, slightly longer torso, etc. That, and handles for his giant cannons.

Unfortunately, those are the parts that are the most difficult to mod. Seeing as how you'd need to mold an entirely new torso. Even if you were to simply attempt to resculpt the head, the head of the toy is difficult to remove, because his torso is pinned together.
