I unscrewed the shoulder flaps and took off both sets of thigh pads.
was this intended to improve the toy?
Not really a "mod" since all you did was take stuff off the toy.
I don't get it :/ The knee pads were movie accurate..
I agree - but the shoulder mod makes him look better imo...
IMO he looks sleeker and more screen-accurate
I hate to sound like a bad guy, especially if I consider myself a 'newbie' on the forums looking at my post count and all, but I don't know what to make of this mod.
This is especially so when what is done to the figure actually removes movie accuracy or fun level. Unless I'm mistaken and you actually had issues with those parts i.e. those parts interfere with transformation.
In regards to this I can agree as I am working on a leader megs now and I know how the shoulder pieces can obstruct the head movement. But it would be nice if we can see some resolution in patching up the exposed parts in a smart, elegant way. That I can consider a 'mod'.
Is this a WIP? If so then I apologise for being so harsh.
Sorry galvascream, it's nothing personal. Think I got out the wrong side of bed this morning and your post just happened to be the first to taste my grumpy wrath.
soon i will make a wip thread for a movie accurate arm.
they were falling off, so i pulled them off.
was there no chance of repairing them?
nope. they were floppy and restricted his articulation. they wouldn't let him do this:
