Yes it seems like Megatron is dead at the end, but who else thinks he will be revived for the sequel? He's always the main villain in Transformers, he's as vital to the story as Optimus Prime.

I think we will see him somehow come back as Galvatron.

 

It's hard to say to be honest

I mean we keep Magento in every film
We killed Norman but got Harry ass GG in SM3.

It may not be possible cause remeber they want to use the movie to sell toys. Unless they reformatted him into Galvatron but I feel it is too early for that.

 

Maybe leave him out in the second one and bring him back as Galvatron in the 3rd.

Not sure if we want to bring Unicron into that. IT might be too much,

 

agree on both accounts. Something would change for Unicron for a movie and then the fan-boy rants would never end. But who should voice him I say Keith David or James Earl Jones.

Far too early for Galvatron, since we haven't seen THAT much of Megs yet.

I think part 2 would give him a good reason to get an EARTH MODE.
(seeing how everyone might think he no longer poses a threat, yet is in an earth disguise... could make a perfect surprise attack on the autobots or something)

Part 3 should introduce Galvy, if at all.

 

I agree, Megs should have an earth mode in Part 2, some kind of tank maybe. Although, you don't want him looking too much like Brawl. Soundwave, his loyal comrade, could salvage him from the bottom of the ocean and somehow repair him. Then Galvatron could be in Part 3.

Well, after getting an energy overload from the Allspark and being dumped in sea, there's plenty of story potential for Megs to be reformatted since it like the whole freakin' Earth is aware of TFs.

 

I think it's safe to say everyone knows by now from one way or another that he severely loses in the end.

I really want to see him as Galvatron at some point. I always thought the Galvatrons of the Transformers universes were more interesting and bad ass than Megatron. G1 for example, he was a freaking psycho. I want to see an epic return eventually where he comes out of nowhere and rips everyone a new one.

 

Considering that they crammed it down our throat that cybertronians can come back from getting their head chopped off, perforated by earth weapons and generally beaten senseless, I wouldn't even rule out Jazz either.

 

Megs had GOT return. He was totally robbed in the movie and reduced to a bit part, who just literally dropped dead. Megs is coming back. He has to redeem himself after that pitiful display.

 

I agree, all but one of the decaps didn't get enough exposure, and that was the comic relief.

 

True Megatron wasn't in the movie for all that long but I would hardly call it a 'bit part'. He stole every scene he was in and was certainly made out to be a true terror to be reckoned with (nearly beating Prime to scrap at the end, for example).




I do think we will see Megatron (please not Galvatron!) back in TF2. How he comes back and in just what form remains to be seen but I think it would be stupid not to revive him somehow. Just as long as the means he is brought back is somewhat believable then I think its gold.

 

Well he could have absorbed some of the All Sparks powers and that might reformat him and the other Decepticons he got dumped with.

 

He'd be like Agent Smith...oh shit.
