So You all really think that Megatron is dead? I dont think he is. I see a base built at the bottom of the ocean while he repairs!!!! just my opinion.

My crazy theory: one of the Decepticons will steal that allspark shard and travel into it, (whatever it is) like Rhinox traveled into the "place where all are one" and retrieve Optimus' spark. My theory.

of course he's not dead :lol .

he will probably merge with the allspark, and become even more powerful and more deadly then he was before, and starscream will come back to earth, with a huge decepticon army. and the autobots once again will be out numbered, and out gunned.

It'd be like the sequence from the first TF movie: Megatron is rebuilt as Galvatron, then he kills Starscream

OK, if anyone read Ghost of Yesterday, ALL of them can fly and battle in SPACE. Uh... how COLD is space? Pretty darn cold. Colder than the Arctic. Now the only thing keeping Megatron down for nearly 100 years was ICE. Just because they drop the remnants of Decepticons in coldest part of the ocean doesn't mean their to keep like a popsicle! Think of Jetfire/Skyfire from the cartoon. They all thought he was dead, then Wheeljack simply chisels him out (OK, bad plot point) but being frozen puts them in stasis. Cold temperatures will not, they can fly through space. So simple, the deepest part of the ocean is also closest to the core of the planet. It's actually WARM enough down there to grow fungus and plantlife around the crevasses (did I spell that correct) due to moving platelets and constant volcanic eruptions. You'd think the government would be smarter than to simply drop them in the ocean... They should have dug a hole back up in the Artic and kept them frozen up there. But then we wouldn't have a sequel now would we. And the Decepticons can build their hidden underwater base, and possibly even a craft (like the comics) to simply go back to Cybertron and conquer what's left. Of course with the Autobots getting all Jedi on us and sending a beacon... mud may silence "sparks" well. Hey Dinobot did it in Beast Wars when he snuck into the Pred base... They could easily find the Dinobots (a small team of Autobots who fled after Megatron and actually FOUND him) on a secluded island somewhere far from where Megatron landed covered in mud and ready for action and confused who's Autobot and Decepticon... making them extremely unpredictable...

The way they ended it, they could have SS bring back the Combaticons, thus your new combiner.

As for Megs...he still functions. That was one of the great things about the G1 show. When it looked like he was really done (Ship crashes to the bottom of the ocean, swept in lava, tossed in space, etc...) he...still...functioned.

They should never have bases.....ever. He should just get stronger from the allspark and then come back

Megatron will burrow into the earth's core, secretly create a base that slowly turns earth into his own giant Transformer from the inside out. He'll call it Unicron then Cybertron turns out to be Primus and Starscream comes in with his army of gestalts just as the Autobots finish making Metroplex and Fortress Maximus.

Except that's only if we bribe the production crew enough.
