Now that he's a tank, how's Meg's supposed to get around town? I'm thinking its gonna be along the lines of a Galvatron homage from the '86 movie where he blasts off from his arm cannon. Opinions? Thoughts?

True, but look how well the first movie`s Megatron Voyager was in accuracy and detail  

I still think that the Tank boosters (on his back in robot mode) will allow him to fly in robot form.

 

Yea i also think the boosters on his back will enable Megs to fly in robot mode just like he did in G1. I really hope he flys in some way though in the film. Just like starscream1701 said with the voyager toy, he does have wings so they could also include it in that way but so far i dont see any wings on him. I guess well just have to wait and see.

 

Probably "jump jets" moreso than actual flight.

But something like that is likely. In the still we have wherein Megs in ripping Screamer's arm off and is about to beat him with it, notice the building doesn't have gouges and missing chunks up along the sides, implying that Megatron came down from above, as opposed to up along the side.

well bay said that he WASN'T a tank, and that he WAS a cybertronian car or transport vehicle thing...then again... bay said it...

 

A flying tank would look stupid so i hope it dont fly.....Would be allrite to have boosters to get him over jumps tho and produce more speed.

Also flying in robot mode ?????? ermmmm id prefer megs to just stay on the ground.Just make his cannon more powerfull to knock down flying foes.

altho when i did see the scene with megs/starscream on top of the building i did wonder exacttlly how they got up there. Maybe megs grabbed starscream in jet mode trying to get away and they wound up fighting up there.

 

Please no, this movie has enough flaws.

 

Maybe old Megs will end up pulling a "Blitzwing" on us.

I too was wondering how the hell he got up onto the rooftop. He certainly needs some sort of mode of transportation, else how would he be seen in cities (presumably in the states), the desert and grassy green glades? Mystical teleportation :O Any explanation would be better than corny robot mode flight method. His frame is just too bulky, too far-fetched for the the film version

 

i think its possible that his reformatting is going on in steps.

first a hybrid mode like the voyager, and finally a fully engeneered cybertronian tank.

but wait: why das megsy know how a cybertronian tank is looking?
