Wow I really like that
Was on Letterman last night. Already posted, multiple times.
Man, I can't wait til 8:15 Monday night!
Reminds me a bit of Davy Jones and Linda Blair from the first Exorcist, cool.
Sounds pretty close to G1 to me. Awesome.
I didn't like it. After all the spin about how they were trying to make this movie look serious and real world believable and about how they were trying to seperate itself from the Transformers "cartoony" roots, I was seriously let down by that clip.
It just seemed a little... Corny to me. For lack of a better word. And that's not even going into my dislike of Megatron's appearence/movements, but hey... Live and let live. Maybe you guys will enjoy it better then me.
if you haven't seen the whole movie, you may change your mind. Megs is serious badass mofo.
I think Megs in look cool in film. The problem is there was not enough blackground of robots relation before they move to earth. For me, the flashback scenes didn't well work to description much and It lose agage of emotion for what was actually happen in Allspark and this not support to the line that Prime refered "brother" to Megs.
There was awesome battle scene of Megs VS Prime. but they lose from some cutting scene at nearly the end.
Wow! I can't recognize that that is hugo weaving. I love the voice, fits the character perfectly. It sounds like g1 to me, minus a lot of the raspiness.
I'll already be 15 minutes into the movie by then!
I've been 100% go on the designs since the beginning and i must say i love his voice... VERY fitting of a megatron... and the facial animation is fantastic... love it can't wait till tomorrow... happy birthday to me!
Fuck i still have to wait until Thursday.....
Hmm, all jabs about design and all those other lovelies aside, I am really not feeling the Megs voicework. I don't hate it, it's entirely passable and even enjoyable, but the gutteral menace in it feels somehow out of place for that big metal robot. In Warcraft or LotR or Star Wars, that would be perfect, but on Megs it feels somehow ingenuine. I don't really know how to describe it, but it feels too organic, or maybe i'm dumb. It's serviceable, just not what I would have expected.
Ehh, it's cool enough but his design still is messy and the way his face moves isn't really anymore convincing then if it had been a lot closer to the G1 design.
Still seems too monstrous, he looks like a cool character but not who he should have been.
I like it, but the voice does seem like more of a generic villain voice with a slight influence from Welker's Megatron. Can't say I cared much for some of the unrealistic dialogue (i.e. Sam pulls the Allspark out of his coat for no conceivable reason and proceeds to say "I'm never giving you this Allspark!" or whatever, instead of focusing on keeping his balance and getting out of the situation).
As far as the CG goes, VERY nicely done.
