More so, they don't seem to be lead by Sentinel. To me he feels like the head of the military (or global police force) and nothing else. Otherwise why would there be corrupt politicians under a Prime's leadership? And why would he be so oblivious to it when it's portrayed like that one politicion is far from the only one?

Not the actual finished coloured pages.
He got Josh to colour them, but they aren't the final pages.

Good point. Didn't the Optimus spotlight cast the Prime as a figurehead rather than a political leader? Either way, Sentinel doesn't seem to be occupied with his people, rather capturing criminals.

The whole story feels a bit iffy really - it needed better editorial control, which is a massive shame considering how tight everything else has been up until now.

Of course if issue 4 is amazing, I'll eat my words ^^

The best I can say here is that the artwork looks ALOT better in black and white. Still, I agree with KA and Nevermore. My opinion's pretty much the same.

I am really surprised that the reaction to this series has been mostly negative -at least what's written here. I think the artwork has been great. There were a few panels that were kind of hard to follow the sequence, but it was not much worse than some others.

I don't think the story is cliche at all. So everyone expected Megatron to be a proletariot robot who commited a murder out of anger, then found himself on the run from the law, then because of his new life found that being brutal and violent brought him celebrity and power? I certainly didn't.

I do think the narrative could have benefitted from thought baloons as well, but even in their absence I feel like Megatron's transition was well played out and detailed; specifically the sequence where he buries the crest on his head under his "bucket" helmet.

We saw him commit the one murder out of anger where he could not believe he did it, to killing another for sport and see him finding out that he liked the feeling, to seeing him take over the gladiators and turn them into something more than what they were when he joined them.

I agree that the story could have benefitted from two more isssues, but I think that what was shown was largely unexpected and for the most part well told.

Before anyone argues with me, I am not trying to change anyone's opinion.
I am merely expressing my own.

I am just pretty surprised that it seems most people found fault with the very aspects of this story that I think are its strengths.

sure, 6 issues are better than 4 but I cant complain. I enjoyed this mini-series from the beginning. I cant wait to read this final issue.

It is a clichè for a general evil character's origin, and in as a TF's origin look even worse! Is a clichè that the big bad character was I time a normal person, and the "evil" autobots change him in the main evil one ... and Megatron DON'T NEED to be a working class MAN in is past. :/

Another thing that NOBODY EVER ASKED WHY, is why megatron have is "helmet"... is 'cause is was a miner's worker? bah... and... the crest??? :yuck

I haven't read any of the issues yet, but I'm liking Alex's art so far.
