Oh wait, I knew that since I read War Within #1..................so is that sorta in continuity to IDW and the Megatron Origin or wha??????

 

Megs took him down back in the US Marvel comics.

 

Whoa, very nice. Megatron standing there amid the flames is very much how I would imagine "Peace is made from the ashes of one's enemies"

 

hmmm, two WW styled seekers that look exactly the same...

A big enough hammer can usually fix anything... or fusion cannon as the case may be.

 

The whole pose and setting feels almost Gundam-esque. Not a bad thing imho.

 

Me like, now I just need to see it in color. Anyone else getting flash backs from the original G1 movie where Megatron is in the Autobot shuttle?

 

I love this series. Deconstructing a villain is one of the most interesting ventures in all of writing, fiction or non-fiction. Megatron, Hitler, Stalin, possibly even Cheney; all have understandable reasons for the atrocities they inflict on their worlds.

Plus Soundwave looks cool as a tank.

just order it off the net man. i dont think taht any of the IDW G1 stuff should be missed its all so good. plus if your store doesnt have it yet then chances are they wont as its a couple of months old now.

 

the reason is Comic distribution is set up months in advance. Since many shops have thin margins (or are old enough to remember having 100's of copies of #1's of comics that didn't last 3 issues) they often only order what they know is going to sell.

Tell the guy to get you what you're gonna want in 3 months. And see if he can get a back order for you.

They really DO like to help the loyal fan/customer. (I wish other buisness were like that,,,DO YOU HEAR ME MCDONALDS!?!)

 

Now bring on the Optimus Prime Origin mini-series.

 

I gotta say I was initially sceptical about IDW and Transformers. This series once again proves how wrong I was.

 

This is one of the best TF comic series I've read in years.
This is the best G1 Megs since .....G2.

Hope the team the brought it to us, continues on more characters.
