I just picked up the Upgrade for Megatron and I noticed a yellow safety plug on the end of the silencer.

Does anyone know how to take it off without damaging it?

I haven't done it myself, but i read that you could heat the glue slightly with a hairdryer and gently pry to yellow cap off. There are other posters on the forum who have successfully taken the cap off using other methods.

Sorry to resurrect this thread again but abt the yellow cap thing, yup mine just poped right out too.

No need for any hairdryer treatment whatsoever. all you need to do is slowly & gently slide it thru (just be patient with it). dat's all.

Use a hairdyer to head up the plastic and pull it out.
