    Well, Sam Witwicky anyhows.

    In the first movie he's all like,

    "I can smell you, BOY!"

    "Come here BOY!"

    "You may live to be my pet!"

    And then in ROTF, he keeps telling us how much we wants to abuse Sam.

    He comes off as a wee bit of a kiddy-fiddler.

    Okieeeeee... this is a totally WTF thread. Dude/ ask the writers why Mighty Megatron is always yearning for Sam, okay?! You're reeding too much into the dialogue. I mean what's he gonna call Sam, "Come, here my little ..bo..uh i mean girly, girl"?!!! :D

    Eh. Is this thread anymore WTF than "JAZZ IS ALIVE!!" threads?

    I mean, I made a claim, and then I supported it with evidence from the text. That's how you substantiate a point or argument, yes?

    Well... Look at this way... We were all complaining about the lack of characterisation in the movie, yes?

    Maybe getting Weaving to deliver his lines in that way was part of Bay's attempt to give the film a little depth and heart.

    We all hate him for his tacky characters, but we were always looking in the wrong places!

    We curse him for his meaningless movies, but maybe he was trying to send us a message!

    Someone who has any of Bay's films, start watching them for that extra layer of subtext.
    Megatron hooked the Fallen up to that cradle thing at the Fallen's request.

    It's where they had their bondag- uh, bonding time.

    Yahuh, Optimus calls him 'boy' when he is resurrected by him, and The Fallen calls him 'the human child'. I see what you did there, but I didn't laugh. Sorry.

    Bonecrusher was clearly a poor and tormented figure, twisted into a eternel emotional state of hate after being sent to Iraq and losing contact with his younger brothers Conebrusher,
    Crushboner and Scrapper.

    Yeah, half of it is in the delivery.

    Half of it is just the seedy nature of his lines.
