Didn't I mention that it was creepy that all over the place Megatron keeps saying his name, all digitalized and stuff? Over and over, or in little snap bites. Like when Sam's racing up the stairs to the roof, you hear him say his name again "Meg-ga..." then the "ttrrrrooooonnnnnn..." is a low, heavy peach of synthesizing. And on the roof he's making that same noise before he speaks, like when you test drive a blender. I'm not making this up. When's he's walking ominously towards Sam perched at the very end of the roof you hear his voice rustle, like he's picking up on radio waves. Um...what was the question? There's still a debate going over who said 'Decepticons attack?' Since it was obviously Hugo Weaving's voice inflection, I think the answer should slap some people in the face.
i dunno about devastator calling out megatron when he just got to the city..megatron's mouth move's at the same time.. deceticons attack....=megatron and at the building when sam was running like a little bitch..i too THOUGHT he said megatron, but he says 'maggot'
Ironically, the first time I watched the movie, I thought Brawl had said "Decepticons Attack!" Because after showing the Army dude who yells "Hit it!" It's not Brawl - he had no voice actor. It sounds a lot like Ironhide exclaiming 'Megatron!' upon seeing none other than the Decepticon leader himself turn up.
also he had a couple more lines with Jazz... called him a cretin. (watches with subtitles with hard-of-hearing fiancee)
No, no, Jazz calls Megatron "cretin." He also says something like "Is that all you got?" Defiant to the last.
I think Megatron was the one who called Jazz a "cretin", then Jazz said "Is that all you got, Megatron?" before being split in two.
You guys are going to think I am full of it, but after reading Ghosts of Yesterday and hearing him called "The Iceman" by Sector 7 in the north, then hearing him called NBE-1 by Sector 7 in Hoover Dam, I completely expected him to say "I am Megatron" when he first thawed out. Maybe not those words exactly, but some declaration of his identity -Doctor Doom style.

'No, I want two.' -rip- Overall though, yeah I just chalked up the first megs name cry to him being pissed at being called all sorts of things but his rightful 'king' name by these weak fleshbags. The second time he does it, I look at it more as a proclamation to the autobots and decepticons of 'guess who's still alive, and is back to kick your ass.' And yeah those megatron quotes are still missing a few lines.
