    Remember how the explanation of prime and megatron being brothers. because of that megatron strangly was a prime:confused:

    Optimus may not have meant that in a literal sense. It could have just been referring to how they used to be so close that they considered each other brothers. This was probably before the war started.

    I dont think they're actually brothers.

    they were close before the war. thats all, I think.

    even if they were brothers, that doesnt mean that both would be primes.

    I dont believe he said that only a prime can kill a prime, but only a prime could kill the fallen. because thats the only way the autobots would stand a chance, as they arent built for war like the decepticons are.

    They were literally intended to be Siblings. However, the portrayal in the movie leaves it open for interpretation. I believe Bob Orci did clarify about this.

    But he was killed himself by the Allspark and a teenage boy. And I don't think they are Primes are they? The whole only a Prime can kill a Prime thing will probably mean that only a Prime (one of the first 7) or a descendant can kill a Prime (one of the first 7), but a descendant can be killed by anyone. And I'm pretty sure that Optimus and Megatron aren't real brothers, but just had a tight friendship.

    Primes are born not made. The whole reason Megatron was following The Fallen was to become a Prime. The Fallen is billions of years old and was hooked on to life suport in the nemesis which is we he had to use Megatron to do the leg work untill He *the Fallen" was certain he could regain his power via the matrix and harvester. This is why i suspect fallen was killed so easy and Megatron is not a Prime he wanted the title and power but Prime set him straight on the matter

    Is this prequel media knowledge? I haven't kept up with that stuff this time around. It's nice to know, but at times a bit shitty when you have to do homework to know about a movie you're watching.

    Perhaps Megatron was a fallen Prime as well. Thus making Op and Megs brothers, and being the pupil of the Fallen.

    Fallen called Optimus the last Prime though. So Megatron can't be a Prime unless he was hiding that fact from his master.

    It's like Desmond on LOST referring to everyone as "brother" (or "brotha" in his case) It's a term used for friendships or bonds. Optimus and Megatron had a close bond, so much so that they were practically family, or brothers.
