This was a commission for another TFW board member. He's basically a Generation 2 Megatron, but repainted with a Generation 1 color scheme. I used a blend of Alclad, both Alclad 2 silver and chrome. Pain in the ___ photographing this, I wish I had a nice print or something I could have put him on top of to show the chrome's effect.

    Anyway, enjoy!
Again, there will be more pics on my website some point this weekend. Many thanks to the commissioner. Had a lot of fun with this one!

This is another of those that Ive always been surprised at seeing so few made. There's a really old one in the gallery, but I've only seen 1 or 2 others.

Very nice. I hated that green. I also notice no gimpy left arm like the ROTF figure. Can you fix that when he comes out?

    This guy looks really awesome.

    Perhaps there's one here: Generation 2 Megatron Recolor - Generation 2 Customs - TFW2005.COM

f_r, your work looks sharp as always. I see you shot another great slew of photos! I'm sorry they didn't depict things the way you want, but your presentation still looks great.

Keep up the good work, bud. :thumb

No, I just wanted a G1 (chromed up) paint job. I've always thought the toy's mold was good, even though it's so simple. It was the G2 color scheme that I couldn't get past.

Awesome job. Your pics really reflect the "shinyness" when you look at the reflection of bumblebee, or the energon cubes (BTW which cubes are those?)!

I know there have been radicon discussions on chroming before and how hard it is to get it to look good. Have you developed a reliable technique, or is it still a pain in the carburator?

Any chance of seeing pictures with good lighting, like the G2 snap? The dark effect is good for display, but takes away from the details and true paint applications.
