He was in DC before that, so he actually drove from DC to Chicago.

He and Starscream could've done a Dreadwind/Darkwing combination.

If not that, then they probably hitched a ride on Liquid Ocelot's Arsenal Gear.

    Or, a wizard did it.

I would think he's too heavy for Starscream to carry, there is no way Starscream could have moved fast enough to stay off human radars carrying old tanker Megs.

Um…didn't he fly from the bottom of the ocean to one of jupiters moons in ROTF?
I'm sure he could fly across the ocean in DOTM.

I would imagine that Ehren Kruger just didn't have enough time to flesh out the details, much like Sofia Coppola with regards to Scarlett Johansson's pink wig in Lost in Translation.

It's all another elaborate G1 homage. One minute everyone is on some foreign continent, the next minute they've globetrotted across the planet with zero explanation as to how.

    :)

I don't think Megatron would just give up such a tactical advantage such as flight guys, he can still fly on his own, just probably only in robot mode.

I like to think Starscream carried him.

    Neither do I.

Which is why I'm sure his lack of flight is due to the heavy damage he took in ROTF.

Remember that one time in 1984 when the Autobots drove to Burma?

WE DO NOT QUESTION G1! Anything that happens in G1 that goes against the laws of physics, space time continum, gravity, and all other nonsense, are accepted!
