Given the time period Megatron will be locked up by sector 7 at this point. Could part of the plot revolve around Bee being on a scout mission to verify reports of Megatron on earth?
I believe that this film was not only filmed entirely in California, but also takes place in California.
I was thinking about that. A quick glimpse of Sector 7 operations in Hoover Dam would be really cool. Maybe like Burns calls some high authority guy, they hang up, guy walks out of his office and looks at Megatron.
Thought crossed my mind. But I hope they don't. I can't imagine the robo-SwampThing design of Megatron would look to well with these nice robot designs. So unless they're planning on revamping Megatron as well I'd rather not see him.
I mean, that was a major plot point from the original 2007 film, which this new film is a prequel to, so...
Might get a brief one. Thanks to the trailer it seems from the looks of things the movie begins at Hoover Dam, so I'm sure Sector Seven will mobilize and you'll see a panning shot run through the facility to see the Allspark AND Megatron.
This is what people mean when they say this is both a prequel and a reboot. It's actually the exact same plot as the Bay films... same characters, timeline, etc... but it's the start of a completely new film series. In TF1, Megatron was kept frozen by Sector 7 beneath Hoover Dam. In BumbleBee, Megatron was kept frozen by Sector 7 beneath Hoover Dam. But he looks different, or something. So it's a prequel reboot ret-con recast.
Seriously. If Unicron is Earth, wouldn’t Transformers be avoiding the planet to begin with? Why is it that none of our main casts were aware of this but everyone else was?
