Megatron: "So... This is where the magic happens. Quaint."
I appreciate Megatron's design; a delightful cross of G1 and the Movies with a touch of WFC silveryness. The spiky shoulders, the shark-like teeth, the massive legs. the purple tint here and there. It's lovely.
He's insanely powerful, capable of going toe-to-toe with Optimus, feral Insecticons and managed to resist Unicron himself long enough for Optimus to unleash the Matrix.
His voice is quiet, sinister. He has his aris of madness, charisma and casual pleasantry regardless of the situation.
And his vehicle mode is both sleek and powerful, fast and efficient and oh-so fitting of Meg's self-confident nature.
TFP Megatron is pretty damn awesome.
Definetely my favorite Megatron in every part the character can be, except maybe alt mode but I will take alien jet mode if it means that amazing powerful robot.
I will admit that I got scared when I heard Frank would be voicing him but it was ultimately the perfect choice, it's a very different voice from the G1 version, rooted on it, but more menacing and less screechy.
not a huge fan of the altmode, referring strictly to the head being visible in vehicle mode. overall, he has to be my favorite re-incarnation of megs. the beautiful fusion cannon, the evil look in his eyes, those spikes, I could go on for a while.
I talk like him whenever I'm impressioning an evil guy. Near anything he says is just goddamn evil.
Optimus: Oh my god Megatron called me quaint in front of my friends what do I do abort abort
He has such class, I bet before the war he was the life of the party at masquerade parties.
A gladiator in the pits of Kaon, he was.
LOL, imagine if the gladiators hosted masqeurade parties
Megatron was blessed with a silver tongue, thats how he was able to bend the truth and keep Orion under his influence.....that is until starscream turned up.
Considering he's a robotic organism, Megatron's tongue could literally be made of silver
I agree with this 100%.
It's interesting to see how much Frank Welker's Megatron has evolved since his original cartoon days.
I was just thinking that actually
Megatron sit's in his chair of evil and listens to opera and classical music like mozart that soundwave plays when he's sleeping. ( megs and soundwave share a bunkbed, best buddies they are )
Megatron likes to have tea parties in his spare time with Soundwave, and Knockout (I don't think Dreadwing would join them unless Megatron told him to). They sit around with Mozart being played by Vehicon Steve in the background, and discuss plans for defeating the autobots. Knockout also uses this time to brush up on his nails.
Could you imagine Dreadwing drinking tea lol.
I love his Viral teeth.
I love the look of fear he has on his face when Jack restores Optimus's memories.
Yep. That's him remembering the beating he got a while back, in TFP Optimus's finest moment.
He's okay, but a bit overrated.
He is sqandering his situation and his resouces. If I was in his position I'd have the Autobots at me knees.
Megatron is overrated in every one of his incarnations. So why is his TFP version any different?
Separate names with a comma.
