technically, he wasn't wrong with Skids and Mudflap. We saw their cars....that's it. That's not actually "them"...at least not their robot versions. These are just...cars
I can't be sure if Megan returns to the franchise, but consider this . . . what if she, or Bay are contractually obligated to use her in just one more movie. Who knows, maybe they've signed a contract, back in 2005 or 2006, that she will star in three Transformers films, if they make sequels . . . this may just stem from a legal obligation. It's just my wild speculation on the matter.
Megan Fox's lack of acting skill didn't help either. And you know why everyone is picking on her specifically? Because this thread is about her. Not about the numerous other failures of the movies. Her particular failures are the subject at hand. Jailbait? I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Exactly. Unless you see them transform, those are just cars. No robot modes, no proof they are robots.
but we all know it was supposed to be them and Bay caved to all the cry babies and cut them during production. I for one would have rather have them and let them go down fighting so we could all be happy. Haters get to see them die and gone for good. And those that liked them would at least get to see them go out like Autobots should. Anyway, lets get back to the subject at hand.
Doesn't matter what they were "supposed" to be. Once they were cut, they were no longer that. They were just cars.
Megan Fox is box office poison, plus she's just shallow and empty when i see her onscreen. I'll never understand Bay's easy ability to forgive and forget. *sigh*
Exactly. You can already see it in a few of the responses here in this thread. Not "I hope they bring her back because I think she's a good actress!" but essentially "I hope she gets brought back because she gives good masturbation material." I for one hope she's not in this, I want this next movie to focus more on the robots like it's supposed to and not some boring group of human civilians. Her inclusion would only serve to drive this movie into the ground, because Bay would be focusing more on her instead of the more important robots.
Yep. She was pretty once. I actually didn't think she was a terrible actress. She actually had moments of pretty naturalistic delivery (which I guess could be considered not acting), and wasn't half as irritating as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who I really do find myself cringing at. Of course, Rachael Taylor was better than either of them. She played Maggie well, and her character had potential as a relevant human character but didn't get carried over into the sequels.
Sorry, but I don't think that argument holds water. The Autobots are not just driving along in convoy with random non-Transformer, human-driven, consumer-grade vehicles through the middle of a war zone where they expect to be attacked at any moment. Whether we saw the scene where they transform or not is kind of irrelevant. It happened, we just didn't see it because it wasn't a primary focus location of the story being told. Plus they are definitely there, and killed, in the book, which is based on earlier revisions of the script and doesn't need to cut scenes for content relevance or time.
I'd love a godzilla vs bambi moment....where fox's CHARACTER is bambi and the evil tf leader is GODZILLA...then laughs maniacaly after scraping his foot on a random building
You forget "OMFG Michael Bay said" "Yeah and Nelson said" "Nelson is a liar!" "Bay is a liar!" "No they're not!" "Yes they are!" "No they're not!" "YES THEY ARE" "No they're not!!" "HE TELL ME!"
Not only is this extremely plausible, I actually hope this where they take Mikeala in TF4. It'd be a great way to tie this film to the first three.
Well, he said no comic. I'm not sure about the book adaptation but I definitely don't want it released. If they must, release it like 2 weeks after it it's theaters. If that book comes before the movie, some idiot is gonna put a spoiler on Facebook, twitter, etc and it's going to ruin it for me just like DOTM.
