See I can envision all of that except for the CW engineering. As much as people want it I doubt it'll be done in RID2015. The simplistic & hollow structure the RID2015 line has can't really accommodate something like a CW Gestalt. I think they'd probably have either a big 3-Step Changer or 5 Warrior Class figures who latch on to each other like Power Ranger/Super Sentai toys. But of course that's just a guess.

But here's the thing, you kind of just described combiner wars, with one exception, rid has no voyagers. Combiner wars figures are no more or less hollow than rid and it's 5 figures latching together like a power rangers megazord. The only thing that gives them elbow articulation in combined mode is the natural joints in the base figures. Take combiner force storm shot for example. He is basically a combiner wars arielbot without the combiner peg.

Maybe it'll be a new form of Prime Abominus, and he'll actually appear in the fiction this time.

Eh, I'll disagree. I've handled CW figures & they feel a little more solid than anything RID2015 has ever made. Even though I love them I always fear ruining my Warrior Class figures during transformation because the plastic feels different but I never have that problem w/ CW, TR or any Generations line.

In Prime/RID, the Terrorcons are Predacons, and Starscream made it clear how he got rid of the rest of the Predacons. Maybe Starscream missed a few but I highly doubt ANY combiners will make an appearance.

Except for the fact that a combiner is rumored to be the main antagonist of season 3 in rid. Also the traditional terrocons (abominus) was in the prime toyline despite the fact that terrorcons are zombies in prime

They were in the prime toyline as more Predacon clones that Shockwave made and were able to combine.

Yes but it's still the classic terrorcons more or less (though technically not terrorcons in aligned continuity) and these are what people are talking about when referring to terrorcons that combine

Since we didnt get all the combiners from g1 in combiner wars I am Really hoping its a g1 combiner that looks VERY much like his g1 self.

so my hope is for either the , Predacons, Terrocons, Seacons, Dinoking, Liokaiser . My boy will be happy to see them in the cartoon too

Given how Hasbro works, and since this is RID... it'll probably be Ruination, and the toys will be repaints of the Combiner Wars Bruticus.

That said, I'd still buy it.

IF hasbro keeps with their own lore that wouldn't work. Ruination is an autobot in aligned continuity and the rumored combiner is a decepticon

Please ask for Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus, and Galvatron with G1 designs.

Um.......generations has been running a lot longer than the prime wars trilogy, in fact its genealogy goes back to the 2006 classics
