I've been watching the season one episodes in order to count down to season two...and a couple of days ago I noticed noticed something I find interesting...Megatron's teeth are similar to those of 80's Mumm-Ra. Not exactly the same, but the comparison can definitely be made. Makes me love Prime Megatron's design even more.

Probably a coincidence, but Megatron's teeth are actually a cool part of his design.

I always figured TFP Megs inherited his movie self's sharp teeth.

I don't think that either Mumm-Ra or Megatron are very big on seeing the dentist every six months.

I don't think there's any connection apart from "generic bad guy sharp teeth".

Same here - his face (among other parts of his design) are heavily based on the movie-verse incarnation.

    Fun Fact:

Earl Hammond (Original Mumm-Ra) once voiced Megatron on a video cassette tape.

Although in TFP his teeth seemed to become more shark sharp after his seeing Orion become Optimus Prime. To me the shark teeth represent the 'ultimate predator' that we know Megs to be.

:lol  *MLP's Big Mac* aahh, YEP!

Appears so. Until Season 2 rolls around, it'll just be useless observations. What's next? Zombie Skyquake is a reference to the Walking Dead?

Sorry, just saw an episode last night. I'm hooked now.
