    WWWWWWhhhhhhaaaaaat?

This is wonderful news! Time to see if my x4 ER Larger Laser Timber Wolf (x2 LRM15s and x2 machineguns, or was it x4, cant remember) is really worth having around.

I hope that this mechwarrior title gets off the ground. Theres been a hiatus hell going on with MechWarrior stuff.

If this is going to take place during the Clan invasion, I'm curious as to which Mechs we'll have access to. I'll have to go back and research which ones were in service in that era.

Ohhhhhh yeah! That's a good point! On the site, the already got a Atlas shown in the media tab, which isn't saying a whole lot as that sucker has been around for.... forever!

I kinda hope it doesn't take place during or post clan invasion (unless its Dark Age, hurr hurr) . All that clan tech spoils us!

Pre-Invasion is what the site says, so I assume Inner-Sphere work horses. I hope the mech balance works well, cause I tend to prefer medium Mechs. The information warfare aspect could be cool.

Oh snap. Not really sure what to expect, but I did reserve a name for myself.

Anyhoo, just give me a medium ER laser boat and I'm good to go.

Alright, I'll have to freshen up on my pre-clan mechs too. If they give the option, what house are you guys going for?

I aim to root for House Merik!

Boo, Houses. I'd take Kell Hounds, Eridani Light Horse(s?) or Northwind Highlanders over any House.

oh sweet! suppose I should look for a modernday equivalent of my old OLDass Phoenix joystick... that had the perfect controlsetup for me to pilot a mech successfully without memorizing keyboardlayouts.

I think it's Horses, plural, because it's a unit, not a single individual.

Anywho, at least you didn't pick Wolfs Dragoons, those guys make me roll my eyes every time I see them.

I like to pick faction, like the Houses, because it's a group that makes a difference, not some middle ground like mercenaries. I dunno, its hard for me to explain, but I just don't like to go along neutral style areas.

Pretty sure you setup as merc lances anyway. Not sure if you actually have an official house affiliation.

I just read that bit, although I imagine they'd restrict the use of the big names. I certainly wouldn't want to be Captain process, Eridani_Light_Horse_14.

We should form our own Lance, like here... right now.

Doesn't have to be TF themed but that might be cool

I'm up for it. I've been itching for some more Mech madness. I was disappointed when I couldn't get my copy of MechCommander 2 to work in Win7.

Oooh, I'm interested. I only have a scant knowledge about Mechwarrior that I got from a MLP:FiM fanfic of all places, but it was a damn good fanfic and I might try this out to learn more about the franchise.

But there better be a VLK-QD1 Valkryie. I don't care if it's a light mech, I want one, and I wanna fire missiles at EVERYTHING!

The Thessalonica Legacy actually does a pretty good job of covering the basics and general feel of the Battletech universe, so that's a pretty good starting point.

I am so pathetically excited about this game. I love me some Mech on Mech action :D

An interesting thing to note is that the game is set just before the Clan invasion, leaving us with the chance of seeing the Clanners in later releases :D

Blast, I think most of my favorite Mechs are either Clan designs or post invasion. I'm going to have to get used to inferior IS tech :p

    Mechwarrior! Hell yeah, finally!
Free to play! Ehhh, not so sure
    Online! As it should be!
    Pre Invasion: Awww.

Hopefully i'll be able to rock my armed-to-the-teeth Daishi I used to run, not sure if it'll be in since it didn't become popular till the Invasion I guess. I played MW3 pretty hardcore back in the day, days and days of online. Played 4 a decent amount, but not as much. Still loved both of them. I remember when FASA got bought out by Microsoft I was sad, but went into MechAssault with an open mind. When FASA got disbanded, I shed a tear, thinking i'd never see another Mechwarrior game. Hope this delivers.

Hehehe, they're not quite the Valkryies you'd see from Robotech/Macross. They do have missiles, but they dont volley out as much as the Catapult that was mentioned earlier.

I hope.... ooooohhhh do I hope that they have the Warhammer, I dont care if its a destroid, that thing was about one of my favorate pre-clan mechs.
