The Lazedbeak head is tricky to get out with fingers because there is no tab, easy enough with a small wedge tool to lift it out. Lazerbeak is very small, too small for this scale imo(i knew that before i bought it). Other criticism is there is no where to tab Lazerbeak therefore he is going to stay in the chest.

No big matter though, i still feel all in all this is a great product, quality, finish, detail, accuracy, packaging all a delight. Brings me much happiness. I like that the hand gun handle acts as a tool to get the feet out which are tight. Soundtrack/wave actually is a lot of fun to pose, he is limited but his unusual points of articulation make him interesting and fun.

Best thing i got this year.

Just got mine the other day and I must say I love it, especially for the price! Very easy to transform (basically G1 levels of complexity) and looks like a shrunk-down MP Soundwave. Definitely worth the price of admission.

 

Good to hear. I'm still trying to decide between this and DX9's. I like mech planet's price more (and the fact that it's been released), but I like DX9's look more.

 

Got mine in from Chosen Prime. He is slightly taller than the DX9 Megatron by a millimeter or two, but that doesn't bug me when it comes to the legends class. The transformation takes most of its cues from the G1 and Masterpiece toys. The lack of that bicep swivel isn't really an issue to me though it could have had a waist swivel. Maybe if they upped the budget and made this a $23-$25 figure they could had done it? I dunno. For the price I paid though, it hits enough marks for me to recommend it.

 

DX9s looks sleeker and has better articulation. This dude looks mean, though.

 

Mmm, I ordered this guy but now I'm looking at the WiP version and envying the ankle tilts...

Maybe I'll get both, you can never have too many Soundwaves right?

 

Mech Fans Toys is doing a KO of The DX9. He will be a cm taller than this guy.
