Pretty pumped as I've been wanting a good Twin Twist for a long time.

Also talked to the guys at Mastermind Creations and found out that they're actually partners with MECH iDEAS, helping them with production and design.

    Thoughts?

I had no idea they were partners of sorts. I did know that the designer for these guys also designed Predaking for MMC and IH and Ratchet for iGear. This designer is scoring a lot of work :p  But he does make good stuff.

As for these. Price and final product will be the determining factors. As far as interest goes, I had a jumpstarter as a kid so these tap in to my nastolgia. That and even though I have not read LSotW, enough people here have hyped the Wreckers for me to be excited about them.

    Bring it on.

I'm with Transbot - depending on final product and price, these will be part of my Wreckers, along with Warbot Defender and iGears Presser (which is sure to be released anytime within the next decade). lol

I had no idea these were the guys behind MMCs designs (and Ironhide/Ratchet too?) Kinda disappointed, because I hoped this wouldn't be yet another company to throw money at, but I guess it is.

Not really, his looks way better. Damn those are sexy. Thanks for the link, never seen them before.

I can't wait for them either, if they turn out like the concept imagaes they'll be fantastic. I also can't wait to give Hasbro's releases the finger when I see them on shelves.

    Kidding.

    Kind of.

These guys and Presser (Let's get it done !Gear) are what I'm waiting on. I haven't been moved by all the combiner releases. But, these to me are must haves. Besides what are the other choices, G1 and FoC? No thanks!

Call me late to the party but another name for a Demolition Crue could be ummm... Wreckers?

I think these are bought for that realization alone. Price being the only.thing stopping me now.

Looks nice. I'll wait to see actual bot picks and pricing before I seriously consider them.

Concept work looks great though. And I think we can all agree these two need a Classicsesque update.

    Agreed.

After reading LSotW, these are a must for me.

These guys are so bought. My Classics Wreckers need this (along with iGear's Presser but it'll be a while before we see him, I surmise).

I dig how they molded little indented areas on their chests for Reprolabels Autobot stickers. XD

With regards to the MMC / Mech Ideas crossover; one of the MMC engineers wanted to go his own way and we are helping him out as he gets on his feet, and we wish him the best of luck, we think any competition is healthy as it makes everyone up their game, which results in a better product for the fans.

And yes, the name is a tribute to both the Wreckers and Motley Crue.

That's a great attitude to have. I know there are some shady characters in the 3rd party scene, so it's great to see someone who actually understand what competition is good for.

    D'oh!

See, this is what I like. Although I am most interest in the inner workings of things (which is none of any of our business) it is here and to some degree it brings me closer to the company. Or at least it makes the company more human vs a lifeless entity like all big corporations are destined to become.

The other thing I really like about this post is the support some of these 3P groups give to one another. Branching out to new things (and creatign competition) is not reason enough to burn bridges and end friendships. This tells me that you have good hearted peopel behind these groups.

All in all, I got a warm feeling in my heart reading this one.

    Don't forget Warbot Assaulter! ( Broadside )

It's nice to see that MMC are helping a former colleague get set up for himself and more competition among the 3rd parties is definitely a good thing!

Subject to final QC quality I'll certainly be picking up the Wrecking Crue as I liked the G1 toys a lot as a kid and enjoyed their appearance in LSOTW.
