According to MechFans weibo page (and assuming Google Translate has done a half-decent job) the changes to Silt/Sludge are:
    • modified head size (unspecified whether this is for robot or dino mode)
    • shape and size of hands changed
    • length of limbs changed (presumably the back legs/arms, which look like they're a bit longer)
    • robot mode made more attractive (...I have no idea what that specifically means)
    • modifications made to joints that were too tight with a tendency to fall off (I assume this is a reference to the front legs in dino mode, which have a tendency to pop off when you try to transform DX9 Quaker)

Cool thanks for that. The longer arms look good in robot but perhaps not so much dino.
It is cool that they are looking to improve things, mft showing really good attention to detail like with scale of the doombringer kos. Still not sure this sludge is OS, it is hard to tell...

Also notice the weapons are much bigger, gun is massive now...

I seem to remember that DX9's Quaker is 3.9 inches tall; while Silt is 5.5 inches, though don't take that as gospel.

I agree that the Dx9 original cost ain't bad so I don't mind picking up the originals.

I have liked the ones I've bought so far. $30 seems a touch high for a KO especially when the original is like $35. Dunno if I believe that their upgrades are really going to amount to anything besides marketing...

However I've liked all their releases so far so will wait and see.

PM me if Ur looking to grab this guy.

Wouldn't necessarily base all pricing speculation just on ShowZ's site. Just looking at his other MFT offerings and seeing the $39 Sharkticons, one can see he doesn't always have the best prices around.

I'd expect to see this guy closer to $25 after fully released.

Where is a good place to find these guys? Did they mention on their website when the others will be released?

I've never purchased MechFansToys before...do you think these Dinobots they will come out with over the next few short months will be hard to find for purchase, or have their products been easy to find in the past?

How much cheaper will the yellow versions be? Haven't heard of any prices on those yet.

Did we ever find out if these will come with Diaclone mechs or were they just there for scale in some of the pics?

That dino leg transformation was a bitch. It was impossible to transform him without the one popping off. Just not enough clearance. Not happy that DX9's lunch keeps getting stolen for whatever reason, but at least they fixed the design flaw.

    More junk in his trunk?
